Sharing a beloved book from one family to another is a simple act of love and care.

We are all been shocked and saddened by the collective devastation of the LA wildfires. As a NYC based mother to young children, I know so many of us want to find a way to help.

Families age out of so many books and don’t know where to donate them - esp in NYC. Books can be a source of refuge and story times are rituals that offer stability and comfort.

Together, with other mothers and small businesses in NYC and surrounding local communities, we have started a grassroots effort to collect lightly used + loved books for children in Los Angeles.

I am coordinating with discounted shipping resources in the NY area to transport the books to local organizers/organizations in LA to effectively distribute them on the ground.

Together I know we can make a major impact - one mom and one local book drive at a time.
